Les Objets is a capsule of altered everyday items, an ashtray, a flute, a cup, a bottle coaster, a serving piece, revisiting the codes of vintage through a contemporary and conscious aesthetic.Each piece, sourced individually, is reworked through the singular language of Charlyne Sanogo, where the contrast between technicality and aesthetics becomes a driving force for creation. By integrating elements from reuse, cables, links, industrial components, into familiar objects, the pieces create a dialogue between brutality and finesse, between function and ornament, shifting utilitarian tools toward decorative expression. Les Objets expresses a desire to re-appropriate vintage, making it more personal, current, and expressive, while questioning the boundary between tool, material, and beauty.
