MansA Magazine_Cover_Set Design Edito.html

For the cover of the first issue of MansA Magazine, featuring ballet dancer Guillaume Diop and photographed by Delali Ayivi, the set design draws from his Franco-Senegalese heritage through a diasporic narrative. Structured around the notion of “home,” a modular wall system allows the space to shift and recompose across scenes, generating multiple visual environments.

Materials and symbols : sand underfoot, pink sand echoing Lac Rose, and a palm tree reinterpreted with violet tones to build a visual language that is both grounded and surreal. Each configuration becomes a self-contained stage where body and garment engage with a constructed landscape, navigating memory, transformation, and abstraction.
